The AER MK 1 is designed using a rare type of ferrite-magnet at which all magnetic lines are used fully for the transmission of power. This is achieved by giving the air gap the same height like the length of the voice-coil. This loudspeaker therefore should not make a nameable excursion.
This perfectly to the AER formulae designed drive-unit is capable to emit high frequencies to the air in an optimal way. As a result of this the frequency-response is especially balanced without a rising of high frequencies and with a high efficiency. The AER-MK 1 drive-unit is designated in an ideal manner as a mid-high-range unit, which’s lowest frequency area of application - depending on the enclosure - can be used beginning from 200-500 Hertz. The MK 1 can also be mounted to efficient horn enclosures or exponential enclosures.
